Byte is a one-week trip to San Francisco for eight young people from the Nordics. This is the third time we are running it, in autumn 2026. The idea is simple: you spend a week meeting founders, builders and investors — not in conference halls, but over coffee, at their offices, in the kind of conversations that actually change how you think about what you want to do.

Before the trip, the group meets three times in Helsinki on weekday evenings. These sessions are about getting to know each other and preparing for the week ahead. You should be able to make all three. The San Francisco week itself runs Monday to Sunday, and we cover flights, housing and the programme. You cover your own food and incidentals.

We are looking for people who are young, driven and building something — or about to. You do not need to be technical, but most past participants have been. What matters more is that you have a genuine, specific interest you are pursuing seriously and that you would get something real out of a week of honest conversations with people who have built things.
